The place

Forest cabin of the Lesy SR network at Omastiná (Žitná-Radiša), in the Strážovské vrchy range (Považie district), about 30 km from Bánovce nad Bebravou. Sleeps 7 in 7 fixed beds: one 3-bed room (24 m²) and one 4-bed room (30 m²). Facilities: gas cooker, refrigerator, kettle, flush toilet and shower, hot/cold water via an electric boiler, fireplace and wood-burning stove, outdoor fire pit, common areas. Suited to hiking and hunting tourism. Rates: summer (1 May-31 August) €84/night; hunting season (1 Sept-31 Oct) and winter (1 Nov-30 April) €109.20/night; day rental without an overnight stay €50-70.
