The place

Log chapel built in 2005 by Scouts at 1400 m in the Chartreuse massif (Isère). Use as a shelter only in case of necessity: daylight passes through the walls but the roof stays watertight. No furniture or equipment inside — the logs can serve as benches. Not shown on IGN maps and not exactly at the location of the ruins marked on the map. Unstaffed, open-access cabin.
