Chalet des Champis

The place

Small shelter at 1165 m in the heart of the La Bresse massif (Vosges), between the Chajoux and Vologne valleys. Two tables, five benches, a broom, a guestbook, sleeping on the floor upstairs. Water source just behind the chalet. Located between La Bresse and the Col de la Schlucht: exceptional panorama over the Vosges ridges with the iconic peaks Rainkopf, Rothenbachkopf and Batteriekopf on the horizon. In winter, accessible only by snowshoe or cross-country ski from La Bresse-Lispach.
