The place

Staffed high-altitude hut at 2,500 m in the Engadine Dolomites near Scuol (Grisons), on a sunny plateau overlooking the valley. Run by Christian and Evelyne. 2026 season open from 19 June to 18 October; the access trail is free of snow and easily walkable, but the road through the Uina gorge is temporarily closed due to storm damage.
