The place

Traditional CAS hut at 2327 m at Glims, north-west of Lavin (Engadine, Grisons, Switzerland), 30 m east of a stream flowing down from a large hollow. SAC Engiadina Bassa section. Silvretta massif, dominated by the Piz Linard, the region's highest point at 3411 m. Capacity 38 beds in traditional small dormitories. Staffed by volunteers from July to mid-September; weekends only from mid-September to mid-October; self-service outside the summer season. Regional cuisine.
