The place

CAS cabin (Bernina section) at 2,594 m on a ridge on the Engadin side of Piz Kesch (Grisons), with views over the Engadin and the Bernina massif. 43 beds in rooms of 2 to 11 places, plus 2 double rooms; an unstaffed 20-place winter room. A stage on the Kesch-Trek (a 4-day hut-to-hut hike). A common room with a stuccoed ceiling, a distinctive feature within the CAS network.
