Chamana dal Bescher (Shepherd's Hut in Romansh) in the Swiss National Park, Val Müstair/Zernez sector (Grisons, Switzerland), at 2201 m altitude. Stone alpine hut in Switzerland's only national park (created 1914, oldest in central Europe) and the Val Müstair-Swiss Park UNESCO biosphere. Zone of Swiss stone pine, larch and alpine meadows, habitat of the bearded vulture and brown bear (which has returned). Romanesque heritage of the Saint John Convent in Müstair (UNESCO 1983).
