The place

Mountain pasture at 1997 m in the Beaufortain massif (Savoie). Serves as a refuge when the owner is not in residence — generally used in July and August. Simple but comfortable shelter, especially in a storm. Latrines nearby, at the Passage de l'Outray which offers a lovely view.
