The place

Pastoral cabin at 1562 m in the Chablais massif (Haute-Savoie), commune of Lugrin. Pastoral use only, reserved for shepherds — the central section used to stay open with a table, 3 chairs and 3 mattresses, but the chalet has no longer been open to the public since July 2024. Access forbidden in winter due to avalanche risk. About 3 hours from Novel, also accessible from Les Mémises and Lajoux. Lugrin town hall: 04 50 76 00 38.
