Chalet du Vay

The place

Small but tidy shelter at 2040 m in the Beaufortain massif (Savoie). Well-stocked wood supply of logs, 4 mattresses, stove, gas burner, crockery, wood cut for heating. Accessible from the Gleyzin valley. Regular victim of vandalism without apparent motive since 2021: stovepipes from several cabins in the sector (including the Vay) keep disappearing.
