Chalet du Tour

The place

* The chalet is under restoration * You can come via the Chalet du Venitier from above (1h00) or via the car park at the bottom of the valley (1h00). Note that the barely marked path, which IGN shows between point 1430 (trail to La Perrière) and the Chalet du Tour, climbs, descends, crosses gullies, fallen trees, sections of wet rock, etc. It is not really a good option, especially with a heavy pack. The climb from the car park at the bottom of the valley (alt. 1010 m) along a convenient forest track is preferable, especially in winter. The chalet is closed for renovation until further notice.
