The place

Sleeping capacity: 8. Places on mattresses: 8. Chalet rebuilt from scratch in 2007. Sleeping upstairs, room for 7/8, 10 if squeezed in. Streams in the immediate vicinity. Always open. Sometimes occupied in August by one or more shepherds. The thermal insulation of the loft leaves something to be desired due to air infiltration (roof base): heat from the stove rises... but doesn't stay, unless there are enough people sleeping there for the "stable effect" to compensate. Downstairs, on the other hand, there are 3 double-glazed windows and an efficient stove (with 2 cooking spots). A fixed table outside. Inventory completed 07/2023: - A table with benches. - At least 10 pots and pans (+ one large pot) - numerous utensils, including 2 ladles - 2 saws (07/2023) - 2 axes (seen 07/2023) - a broom (seen 07/2023) - a snow shovel (seen 07/2023) - a pair of "clogs" (seen 07/2023) - 6 mattresses (2 double and 4 single) (seen 07/2023) - ~8 blankets (seen 07/2023). The spelling "Chalet du Marret" is found on most signs and maps. But in the guestbook and at the cabin's entrance it is written "Les Meurets." 1 h from [->1396] and 1h45 from the Champeney car park, and about 20 minutes from the "[->2556]" chalet. Bonvillard town hall.
