Chalet de Rouge Mousse

The place

Besides the stove, the furniture consists of 2 large solid-wood tables and 4 benches. An interior ladder leads up to the loft where there is a floor for sleeping. The Chalet de Rouge Mousse (also called Rouge-Mousse, or Rougemousse, depending on the source) is located near the small road linking the Lac des Corbeaux to the Col de la Vierge. It can also be reached via the forest track that extends the trail coming from the Roche du Lac. The chalet is communal property of La Bresse. It is monitored by the National Forestry Office (ONF).
