The place

Sleeping capacity: 6 Places on mattresses: 2 - No water point nearby! - no outhouse or anything similar! - a stove - a few mattresses upstairs (small mezzanine) - basic but seemingly fairly recent and/or well-kept fittings, table and chairs, logbook, a bit of crockery & utensils for cooking... - chalet located deep in the forest so firewood should be nearby in theory (I passed through about 2 years ago at the end of summer) - Heavy axe with an iron handle and a large wedge with handle, and a saw (March 2014). The most direct/usual access: From Naves, go up the track to Les Grands Darbeleys, from there several forest trails (marked or not) lead to this chalet, which is located along the edge of a logging track that then becomes a ridge trail leading up to the Roc Marchand... (all of this is very clearly marked on the map).
