The place
The Chalet de la Tête de la Bouloie is an unguarded shelter at 1166 m altitude in the Hautes-Vosges, at the summit overlooking the ski slopes of the Bouloie resort (Bussang). Small cabin able to seat up to 8 people around a table. The wood stove was damaged and removed: no heating. A spring lies 170 m below, directly to the west of the shelter. Access from Bussang via the Route de la Bouloie to the resort, then up along the slopes to the Tête de la Bouloie.
