The place

Private chalet located on the GR 5 between Rosuel and the Refuge d'Entre-le-Lac, at 2020 m in the Vanoise massif (Savoie). The adjoining lean-to is generously made available to hikers. No facilities inside, but a clean space to rest or take shelter. The lean-to is missing a wall, so protection is limited. Unstaffed hut, open access.
