The place

Chalet at 1750 m in the Belledonne massif (municipality of Allemond, Isère). Restored, but not accessible to hikers: reserved for use by shepherds. Owned by the municipality of Allemond, administered by the Syndicat des propriétaires d'alpages. Access from the Rivier d'Allemond, with a water trough (bachal) nearby. Found locked on recent visits.
