Chalet de la Grande Biesse

The place

Chalet at 2150 m in Maurienne south of Saint-Julien-Montdenis (Vanoise, Savoie). Seems mainly useful to a shepherd looking for shelter in cold or wet weather. Stove but no firewood, metal bunk frames for about 4 places but only one mattress on a bunk, in poor condition. Missing window pane in one of the three rooms that make up the chalet.
