View and Surroundings The view from Chalet de la Charmotte is pleasant, but for the more adventurous, it's worth continuing on to Chalet des Haneaux, which is more secluded. To get there from Vecoux, follow these directions: Head towards Chaudefontaine. Before arriving, turn right towards Pré Noël. Before reaching Pré Noël, keep bearing right up to the 643 m mark, below Les Cucherons. Follow the path marked by the Club Vosgien sign to reach a viewpoint table on a mound, 15 minutes' walk away. You can park at this spot. Just before arriving, you'll see a wayside cross on the right, next to a trail marked with a red ring (a loop of under 3 hours). This path leads to Chalet de la Roulotte, then continue until you join the path marked with a green ring, where Chalet de la Charmotte is close by. Practical Information Opening: Year-round.
