Chalet de l'Outheran

The place

Small unstaffed chalet at 1,596 m altitude on Mont Outheran (1,676 m), in the Chartreuse massif, in the commune of Entremont-le-Vieux (Savoie). Rustic decor: candles, pens, a guestbook. A landmark for hikers who skirt the cabin on the right before leaving the wooded area to reach the rocky combe leading to the Col du Mollard.
