The place

Unstaffed cabin located at 1,970 m altitude in the Beaufortain massif (Savoie). The lower section is generally open but often cluttered with the salt reserves of shepherds occupying the alpine pastures in summer; the upper section is closed and reserved for shepherds renting the Arc pastures. Remarkable panorama over the Vanoise, the Beaufortain, Mont Blanc, the Lauzière range, and the Cheval Noir.

Getting there

From the chalet, easy access to the Pointe de Glais Rouge (2,163 m) and the Pointe des Arangles (2,344 m).
