Small welcome chalet at 910 m serving as an information point at the edge of the Canyon des Écouges, at Pont Chabert, on the D 35 in the northern Vercors massif (Isère). Minimal facilities: a table and a bench, an open shelter but not draughty. No permanent warden — an unstaffed cabin listed on refuges.info. Serves as a base for canyoning, hiking, and Nordic ski outings in the Écouges, an environmentally sensitive area of Isère since 2003, just below Voiron towards Valence. A good stop before tackling the Pré de Fessole or the trail towards the Combe de la Surre.
