The place
Sleeping spots: 6 A pretty, well-sited cabin, maintained by the Bortükariak association, which restored it in 2013: https://association-bortukariak.jimdo.com/r%C3%A9novation-de-cayolars-projet-olha/ 24/10/21: Working fireplace; table and benches; a saw and an axe for cutting wood; tealight candles as backup; sleeping floor for about 6 people; water from the stream 20 m away (info from Gilles Mercier) Larrau -> Logibaria parking lot. Follow the waymarking of the very busy circuit: head into the Holzarté valley, cross the footbridge of the same name (160m above the stream, no less!), continue up the path, turn left at the fork until the point where the path crosses the Olhadibi stream. From this point, the cabin is quite hard to find: Cross the footbridge, follow the normal path on the left for 25m to a small ford. Do not cross this ford: just before it, look to the right for a track that climbs steeply through the trees for 10m, then in the open through nettles for 10m Old collective pastoral cabin still owned by a group of herders.
