Cayolar d'Harpea

The place

Open cayolar (unstaffed hut) at 1250 m in the Basque mountains near Larrau (Pyrénées-Atlantiques). Capacity 8 people, summer and winter alike. Working wood stove (repaired May 2024, no smoke), firewood on site, water point nearby. Generally very good condition, not very busy. A substantial firewood reserve is usually kept inside.
