Casey Hut

The place

DOC serviced-category hut with twelve bunks located at 590 m in Arthur's Pass National Park (Canterbury), on a terrace overlooking the Poulter River. A popular stop on the two-day Casey Saddle – Binser Saddle circuit, accessible to hikers and mountain bikers via the Poulter River Track and the Casey Saddle–Binser Saddle Route. New building opened in 2020, replacing the original structure destroyed by fire in 2015. Rate NZD 25 per adult per night, NZD 12.50 for ages 5-17, free below.
