The Caserma forestale Donnavita is a former building of the Corpo Forestale dello Stato (CFS, dissolved on 31/12/2016 and absorbed by the Carabinieri Forestali), now used as a wilderness shelter at 1193 m elevation. Located 3 km southwest of the Rifugio Chiusitta, in Maniace (Sicily, Italy). Italy's network of "caserme forestali" (former forest ranger barracks) includes many buildings converted into refuges or B&Bs, inherited from the historic forest ranger corps.
