Casale Argentella

The place

Farmhouse at 2002 m on Monte Argentella, in the Sibillini Mountains massif (Marche, Italy). Managed by the Rifugi dei Sibillini association, among the "off grid" shelters in the network alongside Rifugio Belvedere, Casale Saliere, and Nocetta. Planned facilities: two rooms (a double and a twin), bathroom with running water and a kitchen corner. Access from the Valnerina via the village of Orvano, or via the Sentiero Natura from Fematre or Torricchio. Site near the Macereto sanctuary and the Macereto plateau, a starting point for hikes toward the northern Sibillini.
