Former dam keepers' house at Lago della Vacca, at ~2351 m, in the Adamello Regional Park (Lombardy), near Passo della Vacca and Torre del Lago. Converted into an unstaffed shelter. Very close to Rifugio Tita Secchi, which serves as the main base in the area. A stop on the route from Breno → Casa dei guardiani della diga → Rifugio Tita Secchi → Creste di Laione, or via Monte Frerone. A massive building typical of the worker accommodation linked to Alpine hydroelectric dams. Unstaffed, free access.
