Self-managed cabin (Società Escursionistica Verzaschese) located at 2172 m altitude above Sonogno, in Val Vergonèss (a side valley of the Verzasca, Ticino). A former alpine dairy converted into an alpine refuge in 1975, extended in 1999. Distinctive architecture: pink stone blocks. Kitchen and dining room for 40 people. 35 sleeping places spread across two buildings. A stage on the Via Alta della Verzasca (VAV), one of the VAV's 5 huts. Also on the 6th stage of the Via Alta Idra (Ticino, source to mouth).
