Camp Stream Hut

The place

Basic 6-bunk hut in Te Kahui Kaupeka Conservation Park (Mackenzie Country/Waitaki, Canterbury), owned and managed by the Mackenzie Alpine Trust (Lake Tekapo). A former musterers' shelter; the original building was destroyed by fire and its corrugated iron roof was salvaged for the current hut. Suggested donation of NZ$10 per night in the honesty box.
