The place

Communal refuge of Lescun at 1605 m in the Aspe valley (Pyrénées-Atlantiques, Béarn). Renovated in 2014. One room sleeping 4, fireplace and access to water. A secondary shelter nearby offers additional mattresses and a fireplace. Partly open in winter (4 spaces). Occupied during summer. Accessible via hiking routes to Lac d'Ansabère and Col de Pau. Excellent condition, managed by the commune of Lescun.
