Unstaffed cabin at 1740 m altitude in the Aston valley (Haute-Ariège). One section closed and reserved for shepherds, one section open to hikers and well equipped: sleeping platforms with mattresses (4 spaces), tables, chairs. Water from an indoor tap, no firewood nearby (forest 20 min away). Solar lighting. Warning: the hikers' section is occupied during isard (chamois) hunting (~15 days in October).
