The place
Pastoral cabin at 1811-1812 m at the Col de Sasc, municipality of Gestiès (Haute Ariège, Occitanie), on the GR®10 between Goulier and Aston. Built by the Siguer-La Unarde grazing association to link the summer pastures of the Siguer valley with those of Larnat and Aston. Built from local materials: stone quarried on site and larch logs for the frame and roofing. Accessible only via a pastoral track, restricted access subject to authorisation: the cabin is permanently closed to the public (exclusive pastoral use). The GR®10 passes nearby and continues on toward the neighbouring Refuge du Sasc.

GR10 stage 35 (Goulier → Aston). Cabin closed to the public.
