The place
Shepherd's cabin renovated by the municipality at 1310 m in the Baronnies (Drôme), Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes. Unlocked door, average insulation. Inside: a bench, a table plus a plastic chair, a small hearth with a small stove. In front of the cabin, a magnificent meadow for sleeping under the stars or watching the clouds go by. Views of chamois, roe deer, birds of prey, and a panorama including the Obiou, Muzelle, Bure, Cheval Blanc, Lure and Mont Ventoux peaks. Fastest access via the Col de Perty (track) or from the 2nd bend of the road climbing from Ruissas.
