Sleeping capacity: 3 On mattresses: 3 A cabin that can serve as shelter, but with no insulation — the walls are made of wooden boards that don't quite meet. Bare earth floor, three or four foam mattresses on the mezzanine, which mostly serve as a refuge for field mice during the off-season. Good for an overnight stay in fair conditions. Superb view over the Vanoise glaciers and Mont Blanc! Descend via the vallon southwest of the Dent du Corbeau (the path is almost nonexistent). The cabin sits just below a line of conifers. Probably reachable via a forestry track climbing from St-Paul in Isère. Not sure who owns this cabin. We passed by on the weekend of 18-19 October 2014; it was unoccupied.
