Cabane Forestière du Bois Vert

The place

Forestry cabin at 1,475 m in the Belledonne massif (Isère). In poor condition: damaged roof with rotten, broken beams, risk of collapse. Not to be used as shelter. Wooden construction on a packed-earth floor, no furniture, no mattresses or blankets, no source nearby. Appears on IGN maps as "cabane forestière" but locally referred to by the place name "Bois Vert" (located downhill on the map). Update September 2025 confirming the structural issues.
