Managed by the municipality of Courtételle, the shelter offers 36 indoor places, 36 covered places on the terrace, and 24 uncovered places — a total capacity of around 96 people. Access from Courtételle train station towards Châtillon, then along Rue du Mont south for about 2 km to “Esserts,” then a small path on the left signposted “Cabane.” Day rental available year-round; during the winter period (roughly October 31 to April 1), keys are not issued due to lack of water and toilets.
