Cabane du Pra de l'Aup (Chourum Camarguier)

The place

Cabin at 1515 m on the edge of a meadow in the Dévoluy massif (Hautes-Alpes), also known as Chourum Camarguier. Renovated in 2021 but locked ever since: it belongs to the Dévoluy livestock farmers' association. Historically, cavers from the Hautes-Alpes used to make it available to hikers; current status: restricted access. Fountain 2 m below, or 2 minutes above with sheep troughs.
