The place
The Cabane du Mont Séverin is an unstaffed cabin at 900 m elevation in the Jura massif (near Bians-les-Usiers, Doubs). Access is via the Pissenavache road, climbing left after the calvary at the junction with the Mont Séverin path, then 200 m along the Route des Cornes; the shelter is on the left at the edge of the forest. It is equipped with a fireplace with a grill. View of the Mont d'Or and the Suchet from the site.

From Bians-les-Usiers via the Pissenavache road, calvary on the left at the Mont Séverin path, then 200 m along the Route des Cornes.
