The place

Unstaffed pastoral cabin in Béarn (Ossau valley, Pyrénées-Atlantiques), located on the left bank of the Gave du Lurien at the forest edge. Metal cabin reserved and maintained by hunters in September and October, but open to passers-by the rest of the year. Made up of five long rooms with a few mattresses. Starting point for the ascent of the Lurien (2,826 m).
