Cabane du Gros Fayard

The place

Hut at 1110 m in the Bauges massif (Savoie). Well maintained: a visit in late November 2024 confirms it's in good condition with a working stove, mattresses to lay on the floor. Access via the Col du Potat (via the Col du Frêne, about 2h), or via La Plantaz from Saint-Pierre-d'Albigny via the Col du Frêne from a car park at 691 m altitude (about 1h15).
