Cabane du Grand Pôt

The place

Cabin at 1690 m in the Vercors massif (Isère), also called Cabane à Goupette. Access in about 1 hour from the Cabane de Carrette heading south-east. The Cabane de Carrette is 1 hour's walk from Corrençon via a path suitable for everyone. Standard equipment (sleeping platforms, stove, table, benches) plus mattresses, blankets, crockery, board games (including a homemade one), a rainwater collection system for cold showers — though this last no longer works perfectly, so don't take it for granted. Dead, dry wood is scarce in the area.
