Cabane du Grand Géroldseck

The place

Open hut at 470 m near the ruins of the Grand Géroldseck castle (Saverne, Bas-Rhin, Northern Vosges). Built by the volunteers restoring the castle. Castle listed as a historic monument since 1898, one of the oldest hillforts in the Northern Vosges, built in the early 12th century. Worth visiting alongside other ruins such as Haut-Barr and Petit Géroldseck.
