Cabane du Fayard

The place

Unguarded hut at 1144 m in the Bauges massif (Savoie). Access from Annecy or from Précherel (near Jarsy) via the col de Chérel. Small ground-floor room and small upstairs room for sleeping (reached by a small ladder), with about 8 places max upstairs. Fountain right in front of the hut with a constant flow. A wood stove was reinstalled in late July 2025. Bauges national wildlife and hunting reserve: motor vehicles, bivouacking and camping prohibited nearby.
