The place

Sleeping places: 6 Wooden cabin, fitted with windows without shutters on three sides (a skylight to the north), built on a platform of the same metal. A single room with a sleeping platform for 6 or 8 without mattresses, large table, benches, sink, various dishware, three brooms but nothing to cut wood. Water has been piped in and brought to outdoor basins, where you'll find a grill and various small accessories. Wood stove untested. The immediate surroundings are full of dead wood. Latrines 50 m to the north. From [->1526] via forest roads, closed to traffic except log-hauling convoys (semi-trailers... 40 tonnes). Note that the east-facing side is permanently overshadowed by the immense cliff bordering the Vercors, which regularly showers the scree and woods below with stones and blocks of all sizes... the forest bears obvious traces of this, as felled trunks and broken branches are frequent... The owner is still unknown: an association, hunters (likely), others...? Appears well maintained and used by locals, armed or not with rifles.
