Cabane du Cortail de Péguère

The place

Open hut at 1560 m in Bigorre (Hautes-Pyrénées), on the "Tour des cabanes" starting from Frédancon and the GR105 — the first hut on the loop, no notable access difficulty. Capacity 4 people, summer and winter. Recently renovated: door redone, floor cleaned, sleeping platforms rebuilt. Open hearth not tested. Close to Val-Louron (ski resort about 9 km north-east). Neighbouring the Cabane Cortail de Batoua (1.05 km) and the Cabane de Niscoude (1.32 km).
