The place
Small unstaffed stone cabin at 1228 m altitude in the Cévennes massif (Gard), within the Cévennes National Park. On the GR66A between Dourbies and Camprieu, west of Mont Aigoual, at the junction with an equestrian trail coming from Prumaret. Slate-roofed building, without a door, useful in case of a storm.

Cabin Features Solid Construction: Although without a door, the cabin remains in good condition, a testament to the durability of traditional stone construction. Water Resources: Although there is probably no water directly at the cabin, as the spring below to the southeast has been tapped elsewhere, make sure to stock up on water before arriving. Access and Location Located between Dourbies and Camprieu, on the GR66A trail, the cabin is easily accessible, especially if you're coming from west of Mont Aigoual. Keep an eye out for the junction with the equestrian trail climbing up from Prumaret so you don't miss this picturesque hideaway.
