The place

Unguarded hut of the Vercors massif at 2030 m, on the high plateaus. Basic construction for the use of hikers and shepherds, with rudimentary bedding and a hearth. Free access year-round, no booking or staffing. Serves as a stopover on the Hauts-Plateaux traverses. Bring full bivouac gear, water and food.
