The place
Small hut on a ridge west of the Pic de Soubirou, commune of Couflens near Ustou (Ariège, Occitanie), at about 1573-1626 m altitude. According to pyrenees-refuges.com: 3 sleeping places, fireplace, firewood, table and benches, water about 10 minutes away. Recently renovated condition; occupied by a shepherd in summer, with an iron door locked during that period. Outside the summer season, accessible to hikers. Serves as a stop on the routes towards Pic des Trois Comtes (2689 m).
