Log Forest Cabin The log forest cabin is a rustic shelter located deep in the forest. With black plastic tarp lining the interior, the inside of the cabin is dark. Unfortunately, the surroundings are unfortunately littered with debris such as bottles and cans. Facilities Heating: No stove, however the abundance of nearby wood resources allows for natural heating. Sleeping: Wooden sleeping platform, no mattress or blankets. Water: No water source in the immediate vicinity; the stream marked on the map was not flowing at the time of the visit. Equipment: No specific tools. Furniture: Table and bench available. Location and Access The cabin is indeed marked on the IGN map, but its exact position differs slightly from what is shown. It is located on the left bank of the ravine on the south-west branch of the four paths, about a hundred meters from the junction, above the trail. Coordinates and Access The cabin's coordinates were taken from Carto-Exploreur. It is recommended to follow the trail above Livet or from Les Clots to reach the cabin. On this side of the slope, the map shows several trails, some in good condition and others overgrown with vegetation. In short, the log forest cabin is a basic shelter, ideal for a night out in nature for adventurers seeking tranquility.
